Back from the Mara, on our way to Heathrow
The team has all made it back safely from a fantastic debrief time in the Maasai Mara. Half of the experience is the drive in and out... seven hours of the roughest roads I've ever seen a mini van traverse.
I'm on a public computer so no pics, but some great leopard, cheetah, lion and other big game sightings that I'll share when I can hook up my laptop.
We depart for Heathrow in an hour... I'll see if I can post from there.

Thank you Trevor for the note, I'm so glad that the debriefing time went well. Can't wait to see you all! We are praying for your safe travels. Love you Morgan, Mom and Dad.
Hello Uganda team! Great to hear the safari/debrief went well. Just one last jungle to navigate through (Heathrow). We're praying for a smooth transit and uneventful trip home. See you all tomorrow. Special greetings to Erin. Your compassion has no doubt touched the lives of those you ministered/listened to/loved. Look forward to hearing the stories from you all.
Geoff and Louise
P.S. Geoff says: taking your shoes off before you get to security will speed things up. Jon and Scott better leave theirs on. Someone may think a mustard gas bomb was released and will close the airport. Louise says: Kate, we saved all the dishes for you. (OK, that was Geoff too)
Real Louise says Kate, I'm so disappointed I can't be at the airport but I'm there in spirit. Love you!
yay, you're coming home!!!!!! Trevor, maybe you can help us out here with arrival times.....but for everyone who has someone to retrieve tommorrow according to both the Vancouver Airport and Heathrow airport the times for the flights are different from those listed on the blog. As of now (8:30pm monday) the flight is arriving in Vancouver at 2:35PM tommorrow, not 4pm. Anyways, maybe just make sure you all check the arrival times or they may think no one showed up to meet them!!!!
and yes, i concur with geoff that Scott you should leave your shoes on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
See you all tommorrow!!!!
Tracey
Looking forward to seeing you all again and hearimg all about your journey. Trevor, please can you get this message to Brent White if at all possible:
Brent, news is that there will be picket lines around the airport tomorrow. You know what that means, we can't come in.
If you don't see us that's what's going on. We will be hanging around waiting in great anticipation as close as we can get. Phone dad's cell and we'll figure it out. Maybe the two sides will settle before your flight comes in (that is our fervent prayer) Phone dad's cell as soon as you are able if you don't see us. Love you! Mom & Dad
